So for my upcoming new book on love, “The Four Letters of Love” that is, many have been really kind and helpful in assisting in the tough road of promotion.
As such, I would like to thank author Rich Weatherly for being the first to post a review of The Four Letters of Love on his blog, (you can read it here) and for being the first to own a signed paperback copy of the book. (on its way)
In addition, I would like to thank author Alesha Escobar for being kind to feature my book on her site, at aleshaescobar.com
More reviews to come, and possibly more love 🙂 HA!
See you soon on planet love … if such one does exist, we will find it.
Vacation Time ….
So, I have been really stressed lately, running a thousand ideas in my mind in regards to new stories, publishing, marketing and so on.
I had begun writing a story back in November 2011 for nanowrimo, but could not complete it due to some events and when I picked up my story to continue, my ideas shifted and changed. For a while I kept visiting that story and wondering why it is no longer flowing. Then it occurred to me, as I thought about other ideas and other stories that I was doing too much at the same time and not giving the story its own time.
Another thing I have come to realize is the fact that I was detached from my character. I asked myself whether I was writing because I was enjoying the story or simply because I had it in mind and knew how and where it was going. That being said, it was obvious that I was no longer in character which made writing the story very hard.
Surely, revisiting short stories, working on “The Four Letters of Love” and worrying about getting a job did not help my creativity nor did it make it easier to get into character again. I decided to drop that story until I can relate to the main character once more, which meant either finish what I have at hand or take a vacation.
While I sat ruminating all these ideas, I picked a previous short I was putting together based on events and conversations that I had turned fictitious. I began reading this story yesterday, wondering what to do with it and found myself really enjoying it. I went through some editing and realized I needed to add more detail as well. This is when I knew that I was enjoying that particular story so much that I could work on it without thinking of other ideas, and that no matter how badly I would like to finish the one I had begun in November, I needed to give it a break.
I also would like to apologize to all my author friends who have shared their works with me to read, but I am unable to fully concentrate and slowly give the book the attention it deserves, for I found I was rushing through the story when I first picked up Nature of the Beast by Jodi Langston to read. The book is written really well by the way but my attention was shifting elsewhere.
That being said, I need to do some research for that fiction story I mentioned above and I am putting to temporary rest my analysis and thoughts, reading and writing, and going away for some time. Delete, erase, rewind, repeat… I hope I will get back with some images or at least a refreshed mind.
“The four letters of love” is still due to come out, possibly by end of January on Amazon. Do check it out!
As I mentioned before, in my previous post, I am putting together some poems, thoughts/quotes and mini stories for a new upcoming book on Love, which will be released by February, hopefully before Valentine.
I have compiled a video for “The Four Letters of Love” book that I want to share with you today.
Oh, so much to do, so much to write and I am a little scared that I may not be up to it but also very excited somehow. As I turned the page on 2011, so have I also turned the page on many other things and I hope this new beginning bears many changes. So, let us start with something cheerful like love. Music is provided by artist Stefano Mocini on Jamendo. Stay tuned to my interviewsbynadina.wordpress.com page for an interview with Stefano on January 20th, 2012.

You will find both the plain text and the illustrated version in ebook format, however the text only is available in print.
Enjoy the short trailer, and don’t forget your chance to win a free copy on Goodreads. “Thou mayest find the rules to be quite useful, if only as a set of scrolls for a laugh or analysis”, says The thinking man. (For more, see The thinking man page)

:-))) Have a wonderful day!
After extensive research on marketing my self published book The Thinking Man, Paralysis by Analysis, I have stumbled by accident on this great page with numerous marketing tips and links to indie and self published authors looking to promote their books, authors like myself.
I will not re-list the links but here is the page that could be helpful to many: The World of Ryallon.
So I went ahead and listed my book on most of these pages, and have learned the steps for my next book.
Next in line is a collection of poems, 68 total actually, in one single book called A Heartstorm. The book will be available on Amazon shortly and I will post a few poems on this blog as well.
I was also thinking of adding an illustrated version of The Thinking Man for added laughter and sarcasm, though it may only be available in ebook format, as the print version is costly.
Lastly, I am now thinking of submitting my play, Le Duc to festivals and local theatres, int he hopes of having it produced. If all else fails, well, I have an idea in mind…
As for the app I have designed for the iphone, based on The Thinking Man book, I am still awaiting Christmas to get a Mac and begin the process, with many other ideas for app development, to come, as I have partnered with a friend in this new mission.
So for Christmas, if you are wondering what to get, you could get grand pa a copy of The Thinking Man‘s fun rules, or perhaps A Heartstorm for a poetry lover. In the meantime, do not forget that Earth and Venus, short love story, is still available free at Smashwords.
See you soon…

I just received my copy of Le Duc for proof reading yesterday and everything seemed to be in order although I still need another pair of eyes to look at it. I will be going thereafter through the tedious process of eformat conversion for Kindle, Nook and smashwords. Le Duc should be available by the end of October 2011 and I will keep you posted on when and where. For now, read a synopsis for curiosity’s sake.
I am also in the process of testing an iphone app I have designed based on my book The Thinking Man, Paralysis by Analysis and should be submitting it to Apple soon. It is a free 10 questions test that will diagnose your answer based on The thinking man rules. It is fun, you should try it.
Also for the month of November, for all of you interested and planning on getting your xmas gifts this year, I will be having special offers for my books in all eformats. Check soon for more information on that.
Lastly, I am compiling a collection of poems that I wrote over the years and will be needing my two friend’s critical eyes to read and rate them for me. I have posted a poem I wrote at random on http://twimagination.com/b93g called The space between us. Read it for fun, and check out my Xena fan fiction story while you are there, if you still have not read it yet.
