It has been a while since I last published an update on this page. I have been working on my outdoors camping website for the past half of the year, sharing cool information and products on outdoor activities. As a writer and one who is working from home, there is a lot of sitting down so I decided to change my Gym training routine to something more extensive. And I started working out to P90X baby. Some tips for writers should include move around and exercise.

For anyone considering getting this program, I must say that when I first started P90X, I found the classic work out to be a little tough on my joints. I have always worked out at the gym 3-4 times a week with weights and did a lot of cardio as well. But getting airborne with plyometrics for example is not something I was ready for yet. So with that in mind, mid way through the classic routine, I switched to something more in harmony with my own strength and energy levels. I started again for 90 days with the lean routine.

I love this routine because it includes a lot of variety, martial arts, stretching, core work outs and some resistance band training. I do resistance though others might prefer weights. I am almost done with my 90 days and I am so excited that I want to start another program. There was so much I learned from doing P90X, and unlike my gym work outs there was no boredom because the routine kept changing. I so loved the meal plan and learning about the phases to burn fat and then maintain energy. I am no better at including protein in my diet which was something I missed in my previous training.

Beachbody workouts - Tai ChengAlthough there is a new program out, the Focus T25, I am more inclined to do Tai Chi movements with Tai Cheng. The purpose is to get more balance and flexibility. So, if you are like me, sitting in front of the PC most of the day, you will feel the urge and need to move your body for more than just a little walk. I recommend exercising to professional, rewarding, stress relieving, satisfying and fun workouts like P90X and others.

If you have never worked out before, start with something light like a dance incorporated routine. If you have exercised and want more, then surely P90X2 or the new Focus T25 workouts. If you have issues and pain, go with Tai Cheng. If you are more into wanting to lose weight, then get Turbofire or Power90 bootcamp.

And do not forget to eat right. Follow the meal plan, if you get the work out. And if you don’t eat right anyways.
